Invitation to Meetings of the New York Computational Biology Society (NYCBS)

Dear Colleagues:

The New York Academy of Sciences has initiated a forum for discussion between all in the New York area active in the fields of computational biology and bioinformatics. The participants at the meeting that constituted the New York Computational Biology Society (NYCBS) agreed that bimonthly seminars would provide an excellent initial forum for this group to define itself. We have commitments from speakers until September (details below). All meetings will have three invited speakers (20+10 min talks), followed by a social gathering with light supper.

Wednesday = 15 of that month
Time: 15:30 - 17:00 talks
17:00 - 19:00 merger
Location: New York Academy of Sciences (http://www.nyas.org/ )
