NYU Chemistry Silver Professor and Department Chair Michael D. Ward has been selected as a 2011 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.  Each year the AAAS Council elects members whose “efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished.”  Mike will be inducted as a Fellow of the AAAS on February 18, 2012 at the Annual Meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia, along with his colleague, NYU Chemistry Professor Zlatko Bacic.  Look for a complete list of Fellows on the AAAS website, and read the NYU press release.  Congratulations to Mike!
