The Department of Chemistry at New York University invites applications for the Margaret and Herman Sokol Chair in Medicinal Chemistry.  The department invites applications for a tenured Full Professor faculty appointment in synthetic organic or medicinal chemistry.  The anticipated start date is September 1, 2010, pending budgetary and administrative approval.  The appointee will play an active role in the development of organic and biomedical chemistry within the department and strengthen existing ties with the broader NYU biomedical community.
